Simming is a game, just like any game this has
rules. The most important thing to remember is to
have fun. While simming your goal should be just to
have fun.
Create the character that interests you, develop
them as you would like to, and have fun. However
keep a few other things in mind:
1.Respect your fellow simmers
Remember that everyone else on the sim is also
there to have fun.
Show each crew member and host the respect they
deserve as people.
2.Respect
your hosts
The hosts of the game (the CO ,XO, and SO) work hard to provide you
with an exciting and entertaining experience. Hosts of the SLA are
taught to show respect towards the simmers but this is a two way
street. Remember that the hosts run the show and please show them the
respect they are due. Follow their instructions and you will learn and
have fun.
3.Don't get
too graphic
Remember that the SLA has an minimum age limit of 13 but there are
still minors in some sims. Also remember that some simmers may become
offended if your writing or activity becomes too graphic or sexual in
nature. Judge your actions by what you may see on normal NETWORK
television. Don't overdo the language, gore, sex or any of that.
4.Sexual
Harassment is a no no
This one should be obvious. It's the 21rst Century, so you should
already know this.
5.Prejudice
is a no no
Once again, this one should be known already.
6.Recruiting for other groups or sims is not allowed
Go figure. If you are a member of another group or another sim and are
having trouble recruiting, contact LaFontaine@sg-8.org and he can
offer suggestions and perhaps assistance, however it is really
tactless to try and recruit from other groups during your membership
in such a group.
Please refrain
from doing this or you will, most likely, be removed and banned from
the group. We're here to help but this is a bit much.
Breaking of these rules or others set forth by your hosts can lead to
termination from the sim. Just remember to respect one another and you
will have fun.
